VideoLogic Announces New 3D Games Bundle and Major Price Drop for Apocalypse 3Dx
VideoLogic, the international multimedia and 3D graphics company, has announced a major update to its award winning Apocalypse 3Dx graphics card, with a completely new 3D games bundle and a significant price drop of over 20%.
Effective from the 1st April, the Apocalypse 3Dx will come bundled with the chart-topping FIFA 98: Road to World Cup from EA Sports® and exclusively in Europe Kalisto's® new Nightmare Creatures. Both games are full retail versions and not cut down OEM editions.
As part of the new Apocalypse 3Dx introduction and VideoLogic's commitment to customer support, any customer purchasing an existing Apocalypse 3Dx with the original games bundle in March will also receive full versions of FIFA 98: Road to World Cup and Nightmare Creatures absolutely free of charge upon return of their warranty card and proof of purchase. This offer will be back dated to March 1 and runs until the end of April 1998.
In conjunction with the introduction of a great new games bundle, VideoLogic has also dropped the retail price of Apocalypse 3Dx by a significant 20% from £99.00 inc. VAT to just £79.00 inc. VAT (£67.00 exc. VAT). In addition, VideoLogic has also dropped the price of its popular Apocalypse 3Dx value pack from £69.00 inc. VAT to just £55.00 inc. VAT (£47.00 exc. VAT). All prices are effective from 1st April 1998.
"FIFA 98 and Nightmare Creatures is a great games bundle for the Apocalypse 3Dx, and worth £70.00 retail on its own," said Kevin Dale, sales and marketing director for VideoLogic Multimedia Systems. "Combined with the 3D performance and image quality of Apocalypse 3Dx and 15 game demos, £79.00 represents excellent value for money."
The updated Apocalypse 3Dx card and games pack comes with full support for games written to Microsoft Direct X, GLQuake and PowerSGL Direct and will be available from the 1st April from leading retail stores Electronics Boutique, HMV, Game, PC World, Tempo and Tower Records, and by mail order from Gameplay, Simply Computers, Choice Peripherals, Dabs Direct and Stak Trading.
