VideoLogic® Systems R-Cade Vision 250™ Graphics Board

VideoLogic Systems - the international company that develops, designs and supplies market-leading 2D/3D graphics accelerator and audio products for PCs, games consoles and arcade entertainment machines - has launched R-Cade Vision 250, a new high-end graphics board for PC-based arcade systems.

The VideoLogic R-Cade Vision 250 graphics board is a high performance combined 2D and 3D graphics solution specifically designed for ArcadePC applications. R-Cade Vision 250 is based around the latest VideoLogic and NEC Electronics Inc PowerVR Series2 PC processor - the PowerVR 250™. The board fully utilises AGP 2X (with sideband addressing), and includes 32MB of high-performance SDRAM for frame buffer and texture storage.

The VideoLogic R-Cade Vision 250 will begin shipping in Q2 1999 and will be available direct from VideoLogic, along with the recently announced R-Cade Master and R-Cade Force controller cards.

The PowerVR R-Cade Vision 250 board includes support for high-resolution/high-refresh modes as well as standard 15KHz, 25KHz and 31KHz low resolution monitors - plus simultaneous TV out via composite and S-Video connectors, supporting both PAL and NTSC.

Windows 95/98 and NT4.0 drivers are provided, with support for Direct3D, PowerSGL Direct II, OpenGL (full ICD) and OpenGL mini-drivers for popular game engines, including Quake.Technical Specifications
