Eurovision Fever!

Tomorrow evening sees the final of the Eurovision Song Contest and throughout the evening we’ll see a huge mixture of European artists fight to be crowned champion of the world’s biggest song contest.

Flying the flag for Great Britain is 27 year old Molly  Smitten-Downes, who has been writing and producing music for around ten years. Studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Molly wrote her entry ‘Children of The Universe’ and is currently third- favourite to win.

The UK has won five times and come second 15 times. But will Molly be able to compete with Austria’s Conchita Wurst, whose gaining recognition for her beard over her song, or Belarus’ track titled Cheesecake? We’ll  have to see tomorrow evening.

BBC Radio 2 has also created a pop-up radio station especially for Eurovision, offering the best coverage of the Contest, aiming to satisfy even the most enthusiastic Eurovision Fan.
