Customers in Italy can now purchase songs on their PURE connected radio by using FlowSongs, PURE’s ground-breaking cloud-based music service that allows the user to identify (tag) tracks playing on any radio station and buy them directly from any PURE radio with Flow technology built in.
Through the PURE Lounge (www.thelounge.com / www.thelounge.com/it), users can discover more about the artists they’ve tagged while using FlowSongs. Thanks to the store, users can search artists’ tracks and albums, buy them from the Lounge, manage playlists and then listen to them on their PURE connected radio. Tracks can also be downloaded to an MP3 player.
FlowSongs was launched in Italy after an event on Tuesday 28th June at Hotel Straf, Milan, which was attended by journalists and experts from the music and telecommunications industry.
On the same day, PURE announced a new software update for Sensia, its internet-connected digital radio with colour touchscreen. The new software release, which is now live, enables a multi-language user-interface for Sensia, which includes Italian, French and German as well as support for PURE’s Ethernet adaptor. PURE’s Ethernet adaptor, which is available as an optional accessory, enables users to hardwire their connected device to their home internet network if they don’t have WiFi.
