Drake ft. Michael Jackson - Don’t Matter To Me
Just in case you hadn’t heard, Drake recently dropped his new album, Scorpion, and it’s already sweeping up all sorts of streaming records – seemingly breaking the internet in the process. The epic double album, which went Platinum on the day of its release, racked up a whopping 132,384,203 total streams within its first 24 hours on Spotify alone.
Our pick of the 25-strong track list is the rapper’s posthumous collab with the one and only Michael Jackson. The brooding R&B track, which sees Drake mull over a strained relationship, comes to the fore with a gripping chorus using previously unreleased vocals from MJ. If, like most of us, you’re a fan of the king of pop, then this is a must listen!

Gorillaz ft. Jamie Principle & Snoop Dogg - Hollywood
Damon Albarn simply doesn’t stop. Nothing short of a music making machine, the prolific frontman is back with The Now Now, a second Gorillaz album in as many years.
On Hollywood, the animated troupe reel in the help of house vocalist Jamie Principle and West Coast rap icon, Snoop Dogg. Scrutinising the pitfalls of a Los Angeles lifestyle, the funky track is filled with swampy synths and a 90s hip-hop groove – which lays down a perfect foundation for Snoop’s glorious concluding verse.

The Carters - Summer
Music’s hottest power couple, Jay Z and Beyoncé, have had a busy 2018 jet-setting around the globe on a sell-out stadium tour. To commemorate the occasion, they stunned the music world last month with a surprise drop of their first ever collaborative studio album, Everything Is Love.
Under the guise of The Carters, the duo kickstart proceedings on the LP with the exquisitely soulful Summer. While rumours of a struggling marriage have often taken the spotlight in recent years, this mellow track reveals the couple in a loving mood, as Beyoncé croons over Motown-style backing track. And as the song title suggests, this tune is best enjoyed basking in the glorious summer sunshine.

Pale Waves - Noises
At the start of the year, this promising Manchester outfit made our Rising Stars list of the hottest new talent on the music scene. Now, as they prime themselves for a debut album release in August, Pale Waves have treated us to a wonderful new serving of anthemic indie pop.
Noises is a dreamy number that bridges together the sounds of goth icons The Cure, with the modern sheen of label bandmates The 1975. “My mind makes noises too much,” professes lead singer Heather Baron-Gracie, as she addresses issues of body image and self-esteem. Easily the fledgling band’s most confessional moment to date, the track reveals an exciting, new dimension to Pale Waves as they continue their spectacular ascent.

Miles Kane - Cry On My Guitar
After wrapping up his critically acclaimed The Last Shadow Puppets side project with Arctic Monkeys bestie Alex Turner last year, Miles Kane quickly got to work on his third solo album. Now, just a month before the release of Coup De Grace, we’re treated to glam-infused taster of what’s to come.
Channelling his finest impression of Marc Bolan, Kane delivers a raucous blend of fuzzy, grooving guitars and snarling vocals. Complete with a swaggering chorus of “sha-la-la-las”, it’s a real throwback to the 70s that you can’t help but shake a leg to.
