‘Tis the season to be jolly – but that’s not just because Christmas is around the corner. Nope, there’s also a sack-load of freshly wrapped new tunes for your enjoyment this month. Expect the most exciting new acts, the return of some rock legends and a Christmas cracker for good measure!
Sia - Santa’s Coming For Us
Aussie pop goddess, Sia, is famously known for concealing her identity in public, but she’s making her love for the festive season no secret with Santa’s Coming For Us.
Part of the singer’s new festive album, Everyday Is Christmas, this track has all the trappings of a certified yuletide classic – complete with jingle bells and a super-catchy chorus. However, with a buoyant, calypso-tinged vibe, the track isn’t just your typical seasonal smash-hit. Mix up your festive playlist with this cracker and you’ll be rockin’ around the Christmas tree without fail!

Manic Street Preachers - International Blue
The Manics have established themselves as masters of rollicking rock anthems ever since the early 90s. This, their first new album material since 2014, is business as usual from the Caerphilly trio.
Accompanied by swooning guitar riffs and a 70s-indebted synth track, James Dean Bradfield’s rasping vocal echoes like a battle cry during the track’s victorious, fist-pumping chorus. And while they may not be reinventing the wheel with International Blue, it’s fantastic to have the Welsh rockers back on our airwaves.

Camila Cabello - Never Be The Same
Ever since upping sticks from girl group Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello has enjoyed a hugely successful solo career. Her ascent to pop domination continues its steady course with the incredible Never Be The Same.
The track, an intoxicating love ballad, sees a besotted Cabello swoon over her beau, declaring “I'm a sucker for the way that you move, babe.” A bed of tribal-sounding drums and hazy, distorted bass further adds to the sizzling passion of the song.

Will Heard – Fallin’ 4 U
On the back of his second ever single release, London singer-songwriter, Will Heard, is already making huge waves across a thriving UK music scene. Not only the proud owner of a stunning set of lungs, he’s also got the tunes to back it up.
Reminiscent of a prime Justin Timberlake, Heard’s effortless falsetto soars over the funkiest of basslines – resulting in one of the best breakthrough tracks of the year. The perfect party-starter for your New Year’s shindig.

Bjork - Blissing Me
Bjork has never been one to play by the rulebook. In fact, she’s spent the most part of her illustrious career ripping the rulebook into smithereens – exploring soundscapes and visuals that no other artists could dream of touching. Her latest single from her tenth studio album, Utopia, typifies this even further.
Blissing Me plays out like a lush dream sequence, where Bjork’s opening lullabies soon evolve into a gorgeously textured sea of beats and vocal harmonies. Press play and elevate to new levels of euphoria.
