On Thursday 13th August a range of different journalists were invited to attend the launch event of the collaboration of two very British brands: Pure and Sanderson. The Evoke D2 and D4 Mios have been given two new designs – Chelsea and Dandelion Clocks.
The event was appropriately held in the Sanderson luxury hotel near Oxford Street in Central London. The hotel (now owned by the Morgan’s Hotel Group) was originally constructed as a showroom for Sanderson’s wallpaper, fabrics and paint for the textiles company’s centennial.
Drinks and afternoon tea style canapés were served to guests as they looked over the new designs of the radios. The two designs are both very different yet are classics in the Sanderson range and extremely well loved by the British public. The Chelsea has been in the range since 1957 with a pink, vintage rose design. The Dandelion Clocks is a contemporary 50s retro pattern designed in 2009 by Fiona Howard.
Both radios include Bluetooth for wireless streaming from your mobile or tablet. The range will be available exclusively through John Lewis, at an SRP of £199.99 for the D4 and £149.99 for the D2.
