Yesterday, journalists and guests from the music and broadcast industry were invited to see and hear Pure's new Jongo family line up at Dolby's HQ in central London. Pure's new marketing director, Nick Hucker, delivered the news to a packed house in Dolby's Atmos theatre and also unveiled Pure's new Violet subscription music service that allows users to listen to unlimited music offline wherever they are for £9.99 a month.
After the presentation, guests were treated to a sonics and synchronisation demo in one of Dolby's sound rooms run by two of Pure's top audio and software engineers. Audio engineer, Dax, showcased the sounds of the Jongo T6 and T2 that he and his team hand-tuned and software engineer, Ian, was on hand to talk about how the engineering team developed Jongo with a focus on how the audio synchronisation was achieved.
Canapes and drinks were served in Dolby's impressive reception area where guests could get hands on with the product and try out the new music service and see how to pair speakers via the Pure Connect app.
