Pure team up with Juice FM


Pure has teamed up with Juice FM, one of Liverpool's most popular radio stations, to celebrate the switch on of of a new DAB digital radio transmiter for the local area. The switch-on means that over 2m people across the Liverpool, Wrexham and Chester area can now listen to stations including Juice FM; Nation Radio; Dee on DAB; Real Radio; national BBC stations for Wales;  Radio Wales and Radio Cymru on digital radio for the first time. Juice FM presenters Adam Weighell and Lianne Campbell switched  on a the new transmitter and are pictured below with one of the Pure One Mini  Union Jack edition digital radios that Juice FM listeners can win (SRP £49.99).

Ten lucky winners will be selected over the next week; all you have to do is tune into Juice FM.

In Liverpool digital radio has been popular with over 42% of homes owning a digital radio but until now they have been unable to listen to all of their favourite local stations on DAB.

The St. John’s Beacon transmitter in Liverpool brings new stations to the area for the first time and takes local digital radio coverage in the neighbouring Wrexham and Chester area from zero to 74.3% of households.
